What is Desert Armor Korps (DAK)?

Desert Armor Korps (DAK) is an RC tank club based in Phoenix, Arizona established in 2006. Our focus is 16th scale RC tanks and armored fighting vehicles (AFVs) in an IR battle configuration leveraging Tamiya IR, the global standard, as our IR battle system. The desert motif is used because we live in the desert.

What tank or AFV brand is required?

There is no specific brand or make for a tank or AFV requirement. Our club members have tanks and AFVs from various brands, scratch builds, 3D printed, and static to RC conversions. Most tank and AFVs will be a Tamiya, Taigen, Torro, or a Heng Long.
